Based on Rom 8:38-39

Though circumstances come
That may try to cause us grief
We look up to the Father
And know he always sees

When my heart is for the Lord
And my mind is fixed on Him
Nothing can separate us

Though others here may hurt us
And strike us to the core
With thoughtless words and actions
We will always be the Lord’s

Though sometimes we are angry
With what we ourselves have done
Our God will always love us
Because of His only Son
