Have you ever felt a nudging
To take a certain road
But you wonder if it’s right for you
You wonder where it goes

How can you be sure that this is
Coming from the Father
And how can you be sure this feeling
Won’t cause you to falter

When the Father speaks, we’ll listen
When the Spirit whispers, we’ll obey
When the Word is in agreement
We know we’re on the right way

God’s voice was not in the fire
Nor in the quake or wind
It was a still small voice He spoke with 
To direct His mission

Do we spend enough time seeking
In a silent stillness
To hear the Holy Spirit whisper
Where God wants to lead us

God’s way is perfect
God’s way is pure
If we follow

He will keep us secure
